Changes to Mass times
Please note the Mass on Tuesday 10 March is at 09:00, Wednesday 11 March is at 18:00 and on Thursday 12 March is at 11:00 and 17:30.

Suggestions for Lent 2026
To help deepen our prayer and spiritual lives throughout Lent let us take on the Bishop’s Six Holy Habits:
- Keep Sunday special, a family day, by attending Mass.
- Spend at least 5 minutes a day in prayer using the Scriptures.
- Do penance on Fridays, abstain from meat and serve the poor and needy.
- Make a fortnightly Holy Hour before the Blessed Sacrament. - Go to confession once a month.
- Join a small group for formation, prayer and fellowship.

Parish Daily Mass at 12:15
Come to at least one weekday Mass during each of the six weeks of Lent.

Holy Rosary – Sorrowful Mysteries Daily after the 12:15 Mass to meditate on Christ’s passion.

Stations of the Cross
Every Friday in Lent at 17:30.

Lenten Bible Study - Lectio Divina
Every Wednesday from 18:30 to 19:30 in the St John’s Room. God often speaks to us through our life experience when we pray with Scripture as in Lectio Divina.

Food Bank Collection
Support those in need in the city. Donations may be dropped off in the sacristy.

Young Adults Group (18-30)
Meets on Thursday 12 March at 18:30 in the Hall.

Visit of St Carlo Acutis Relic 
Welcome Mass on Wednesday 11 March at 18:00 celebrated by Bishop Philip. On Thursday 12 March we will especially welcome schools for veneration. More information about Saint Carlo Acutis

Clergy Assistance Fund Collection
On 15 March, to assist priests of our diocese who are in financial need.

Catholic Mothers
Monday 16 March from 09:30 to 11:00 in the Conference Room. Join other Catholic mothers for prayer, discussion and fellowship.

Theology on Tap Talk
Friday 20 March at 18:30. Bishop Philip will speak on the topic “Can Catholic Teaching Change?” followed by discussion in the pub.

Easter Egg Tombola 22 March
Please donate eggs, chocolates and sweets. There will also be a cake sale and donation of cakes will be appreciated. Tickets will be sold on the day £1.

‘Walk with Me’ Lent Booklets
Simple, accessible daily meditation, scripture reading, and prayer for each day of Lent. Available from Repository £1.50.

Lourdes Diocesan Pilgrimage

Pray the St Joseph’s Feast Novena 10 to 18 Mar.
