First Holy Communions
Please keep in your prayers the children who have celebrated their First Holy Communion recently, that they will strengthen their faith through the Sacrament of the Eucharist. On Sunday 14 June we invite the FHC children and their parents to join us for the parish 12:00 Mass followed by picnic at Victoria Park to receive their certificates.

Lectio Divina
Wednesday 17 June at 18:30 in St John’s Room. All are welcome to prepare for the next Sunday’s readings, particularly those who read at Mass.

Young Adults Group, aged 18-30
Meets in the hall on Thursday 18 June from 18:30 to 21:00.

Theology on Tap
Friday 19 June from 18:30 to 20:00 in the hall. Join us for a talk by Canon James McAuley on A Catholic Response to ‘Gender Dysphoria’.

Celebration of Marriage Mass  
If you are celebrating a special anniversary this year, Bishop Philip would like to invite you to a Mass of celebration at St Bede’s Church in Basingstoke on Saturday 20 June at 11:00. Please obtain a form from the parish office.

Day for Life Collection
Will be taken on 20/21 June to support Care for Life initiatives: maternal health, dementia and terminal care. Day for Life raises awareness about the value of human life from conception to natural death.

Altar Servers’ Training
Sunday 21 June after 10:00 Mass. Any new children who wish to serve are also warmly invited to come along.

Charity Book Sale

Good-quality books suitable for 12-16 years needed to support charities by Year 7 St Vincent de Paul at St Edmund’s School. Please drop them off in the box at back of the church provided by Sunday 21 June.  

Adore Mini-Retreat

Saturday 27 June led by Jenny Baker, National Leader of Celebrate Trust. Holy Mass, Adoration, Praise, Prophecy and prayer for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Register at: bit.ly/ADOREJUN2026. 

Altar Servers’ Party
Sunday 28 June after 12:00 Mass in the hall. All altar servers and their families are welcome. Please bring food to share.

Peter’s Pence Collection
On the Solemnity of Ss Peter and Paul, weekend of 27/28 June, to support the charitable works of the Holy Father.

Monthly Enquirers’ Group
Monday 29 June at 18:30 in the conference room. For adults in the early stage of becoming a Catholic.

Tabletop and Cake Sale
Sunday 5 July after 10:00 & 12:00 Masses. Cakes and saleable items would be welcomed. Every penny raised goes directly to the Cathedral150 appeal.

Exhibition of Old Vestments
The Cathedral's collection of old vestments will be on display in the conference room from Friday 10 July to Sunday 12 July. Does anyone have some tailor's dummies/ mannequins which could be loaned or donated for the display? Please contact the parish office.
