PLEASE NOTE CHANGE TO MASS SCHEDUE 
On Monday 11 May and Wednesday 13 May, Mass will be at the earlier time of 09:00. 
Thursday 14 May is the solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord. It is a holy day of obligation. Mass times will be at 12:15 and 18:00.

Catechesis for Youth and Adults
Every Monday and Thursday at 19:30 from 4 May in Cosham, junction of High Street and Magdala Road, Missio ad Gentes Room. Come and listen to the Good News and discover the beauty of the Christian Community.

Ecumenical Vespers
Do join us for Vespers here at 18:00 on Friday 8 May when we welcome our friends from St Thomas Cathedral as part of the City of Portsmouth centenary celebrations.

EMHC Formation Day
The Diocese is holding a formation day for Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (new and existing) on Saturday 9 May from 09:00 – 13:00 in Winchester. Register for this free event liturgy@portsmouthdiocese.org.uk.

ProFamily Talk

World Food Day at St John’s

Please pray for the repose of the souls of James Willett RIP: funeral Mass on Wed 20 May at 12:15 and Pauline Jackson RIP: funeral Mass on Tue 2 June at 12:15. May they rest in peace. Please pray also for their families and friends.

Weekend Day Retreat at Verbum Dei, Isle of Wight

Volunteers’ Week, 1-7 June
Is an annual UK-wide campaign to celebrate and recognise the contribution of volunteers. On Sunday 7 June after 10:00 and 12:00 Masses, parishioners who volunteer their time and talent in different ways will be in the Hall. Please come along and discover the many ways you could get involved at the Cathedral.
