On Saturday, Bishop Philip welcomed Archbishop Andrew Nkea of Bamenda and Fr Bernardine Nsom to celebrate the Golden Jubilee Link between the Diocese of Portsmouth and the Archdiocese of Bamenda. Father Ron Hishon and Father Peter Codd attended the celebrations. They were the first missionary priests from Portsmouth who went out to Bamenda in the 1970's to spread the Gospel along with Father Frank Isherwood (RIP). Many Cameroonians from across the Diocese joined in the joyful and colourful celebration of singing, dancing, drumming whilst enjoying its delicious food.
